Scoil Chronáin Naofa, Dromakeenan   December Newsletter 2011 Christmas Concert There was great excitement in the school last week as pupils prepared to perform their first ever whole school concert on Friday last in the new school hall. The pupils presented a show providing a different take on many familiar fairy tales. Having performed their first show in the morning they did it all over again that night. Both shows were supported by appreciative audiences who enjoyed the great performances of the different classes. A total of €1280 was raised on the raffles. Well done to all the boys...

Scoil Chronáin Naofa, Dromakeenan October Newsletter 2011   Eucharistic Bell Children from Sixth and Fifth Class attended a special mass in St Cronan’s Church yesterday morning to celebrate the arrival of the Eucharistic Congress Bell to the parish.  The remainder of the pupils were honoured when Sr Essie and Fr Deeley brought the bell to the school in the afternoon.  Each pupil had the opportunity to ring the bell and Sr Essie explained the significance of the bell as the Eucharistic Congress approaches.   Board of Management Following the recent Board of Management elections the...

Scoil Chrónáin Naofa, Dromakeenan September Newsletter 2011 Junior Infants We welcome our new Junior Infants who have settled in very well. All attend Assembly in the mornings before going to class. They really enjoy our new playground at break times as can be seen from the photograph above. The new pupils in the Aoibhneas Class have also settled in well.
